Abandoned Character Designs
I've been designing characters for a project, and I can't really talk about it, but I can at least show you some of my progress for the design of a warrior woman who happens to be a princess. She's gone through a lot of changes, as you can see.

Korra Bends!
Here's an image I did last week. Drawn and painted while I marathon'd four episodes of the Legend of Korra back to back over and over and over. Normally I can't tolerate repetition like that, but the show is JUST THAT GOOD.

Comics For Sale
Hi guys, I'm trimming my comic collection down. These are my books for sale, only to Atlanta locals. Prices are up for discussion, and we'd meet in person so you can approve the book before any transaction. All books are in really decent condition, the biggest issues maybe being sticker residue or a small rip in a dust jacket. Message or e-mail me (jygodwin @ gmail.com) if you're interested.

Exciting Stuff
Hey guys, I'm going to be published! I drew a 9 page story, written by Chuck Brown, for an upcoming anthology from 12-Gauge Studios. All proceeds from the book will go toward charity for victims of the recent tornadoes in the South. I'll update with the title, release date, and any other information as I find out. Shown below is the first page.

Hope you enjoy!

Look out for my next batch of Senior Project pages-- these will be completely original, and featuring Jungle Girl and her Jungle Bro.

Almost Forgot--
You know how Black Panther got a makeover and became American Panther? Well, Chris Schweizer got the idea to follow suit, and as a result, a bunch of SCAD-Atlanta students redesigned comic characters with colorful names into their more... patriotic incarnations. I chose to create:
Sketchbook Stuff
Hey guys, it's been a while. I'm working on redesigning my blog, so feel free to leave some feedback. Here are some scans from my sketchbook. I'm going to try and be a bit more regular with my posts.
I was returning to some characters from an old story of mine, about a guy who has to save his girlfriend from a castle when video games meld with real life. Also this shows I need to work on planning out my space in sketchbooks. Finding out you don't have room for a character's feet is aggravating.
Here are some character designs I did for senior project. I received a script about a gun fight in a coffee shop. Hank on the left is the mastermind of a heist, while Cody, on the right, is his nervous right hand man.
