Materials and Techniques pt. 1

Rush Limbaugh pencil rendering and Boris Karloff-Frankenstein's monster marker rendering, respectively. I'm especially happy with the marker piece and had a lot of fun with it. Looking forward to doing more stuff in grey tone.
Both are assignments from my Materials and Techniques for Sequential Art class with Roy Richardson.

EDIT: Scanned versions of the finished pictures

oops let's catch up

Here is some of the work I did over summer quarter. The drawings are all from my sketchbook, and the crazy colored pieces are from my InDesign project in Survey of Computer Arts Apps, in which we had to design a cd cover. I also made a website, which you can see right here.

Turbo Turtle 1 Page

Go see my 1-page Turbo Turtle comic here.

Heh, so that's kinda late, since I've already turned in my 3 page assignment. I'll link to my 3 pages if they're posted on Temple... if not, then once I get them back and scanned in.

So, despite Spring Quarter being over and done with, I still find myself drawing Turbo Turtle because he is so. damn. fun. I'm redesigning him to allow for more... flexibility. So look out for that!

Actual New Content #002

o man he's so dynananamic
stereotypical taciturn anti-hero guy + an unreferenced hand + scarred elderly dude who would be voiced by Sean Connery
I should develop a Rosie-the-Riveter steampunk safari gal character, yeah?
It took me too long to make those silhouettes satisfactory to myself : (
El Bandito-- archnemesis or reluctant ally to Turbo Turtle. You decide.
Yes.
